Host City - Santiago de Chile

Santiago

Santiago de Chile is the capital and largest city of Chile. It is also the center of its largest conurbation. Santiago is located in the country's central valley, at an elevation of 520m (1,706 ft) above mean sea level.

Chile's capital city is less than 60km from the main ski resorts in Latin America and close to several beautiful beaches, with snow and sea just a step away.

Santiago will be the host of the Copa America 2015 Final which will be played in the Estadio Nacional.

Stadium

Estadio Nacional

The National Stadium, also known as Julio Martinez Pradanos in honour of the renowned Chilean football journalist, is located in the area of Providencia.

El Nacional, which was built in 1938, has a capacity of 48,745 after going through a huge renovation process in recent years.

The stadium was the venue for the 1962 World Cup final between Brazil and Czechoslovakia as the Seleçao claimed their second global crown and has already hosted 68 games in the Copa América.
